RDS Web Integration with Practice Protect

Desktop Applications are not supported directly in PPO. To secure desktop apps in PPO you need to have RDS Web infrastructure. This will host the desktop apps then RDS Web need to be published in PPO.

RDS Web Integration Requirements

Before we can integrate the remote server in Practice Protect, The infrastructure requires the following server components:

▪ RD Web Access

▪ RD Gateway

This document does not include the step by step process on how to configure RDS infrastructure with Gateway Role. Below are some of the articles that will guide you on how to deploy the required RDS infrastructure.

RDS Web Integration Process

Once the above requirements are in place, to integrate the RDS Web we require the following:

▪ RD Web Access login URL (e.g. https://domainname.com/RDWeb/Pages/enUS/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/RDWeb/Pages/en-US/Default.aspx ). This should be accessible via internet (Gateway Role configured)

▪ RDS Test Account (DomainName\UserName)
