Lock User Account

Purpose

This guide explains how to temporarily lock a Practice Protect user account within your organization. Locking a user account will prevent the user from accessing Practice Protect and any applications secured through the platform. This is useful in situations such as employee leave, account suspension, or other scenarios where temporary access restriction is required, without permanently deleting the account or losing associated data.

Instructions

  1. Login Practice Protect and switch to Admin Portal.
  2. Navigate to Core Services > Users.
  3. Locate and select the account you want to lock.
  4. In the Status section, check the box for Locked.
  5. Click Save.

The user account is now locked and will not be able to access Practice Protect. To unlock, simply uncheck the Locked box and click Save.

Note: This only applies to Cloud User Accounts in Practice Protect.
