  1. Launch TeamViewer. The following prompt will appear the first time TeamViewer is opened or whenever permissions for the required options have been revoked. These permissions must be granted for proper remote access.

  2. Open System Settings

  3. Go to Privacy & Security on the Mac.

  4. Go to each category in Privacy & Security and grant TeamViewer the following permissions:

    • Accessibility – allows mouse and keyboard control

    • Screen Recording – allows the remote user to see the screen

    • Remote Desktop –  enables full remote access

    • Full Disk Access – needed for file transfer (when needed)

  5. Turn on the toggle to grant TeamViewer access. Note: screenshot shown is an example for Accessibility only. You will need to grant TeamViewer permissions for each of the listed permission following the same steps.
  6. If prompted, restart TeamViewer.

  7. Once TeamViewer is open, note the ID and password displayed.

  8. Provide these credentials to Practice Protect support, who will then initiate the remote connection.

  9. Practice Protect now has remote control access to your Mac.
