File Attachments for Secured Items

Overview

File Attachments for Secured Items allow users to store & access sensitive information while ensuring the data is encrypted & centrally controlled. File Attachments can also be shared alongside Secured Items with the option to hide specific files other users.

Instructions

  1. Login to the Practice Protect User Portal
  2. Create a new Secured Note, or select an existing one.

  3. On your secured note, select Add Attachment. Choose a file you want to attach. Note: You can upload up to 10 files per Secured Item, with each file up to 10 MB in size.

     
  4. After selecting the file you want to attach, you can optionally hide it, then click Save.


    Note: Hiding a file attachment means it will not be seen by other users that have the Secured Item shared with them.
  5. The file attachments will now be securely stored in Practice Protect.
